Boo Aik graduated with Bachelor of Architecture in the National University of Singapore in 1995. He is a registered architect in Singapore and a Corporate Member of the Singapore Institute of Architects (MSIA). In his 18 years of practice, he has been involved with a much diversified array of projects. His experience ranges from residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects. He is involved in both local and overseas projects which includes Taman Anggerek a Residential cum shopping complex in Jakarta; the Outlook Estate @ Joondalup Country Club, Perth; the refurbishment of the Malaysian High Commission in Singapore and the upgrading of the entire Mandarin Oriental Singapore as the Qualified Person and Project Manager. He was also involved with the construction of the new Convention Hall at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the Air Freight Terminal 5 at Changi Airport.
He has recently qualified as a Registered Inspector (Architectural) with the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
